Chapter 6 - DooJoon's POV

I always see her in the same spot always burried by loads of books and papers. I don't know how I got myself to pay attention to her, but I do. I saw her hair being blown by the gentle breeze. Some strands of her hair was on her face. I had the urge to brush it off her face, but...

"Kyahh! Oppa! DooJoon oppa, wait up!" The girls screaming and running after me right now won't let me do so. I'm fine with it, but not right now. Ugh. So dizzy.

I ran like I was running for my life. These girls were too much. I've been running and hiding for an hour already. Thank god I was a soccer player. I ran into the building, hoping to find a sanctuary, then I saw her. She's wobbling all over the place, trying to balance all the books on her arms.

I can't anymore. So... dizzy. My step faltered, but my reflexes steadied me or so I thought. "Ahh!" Sounds of books falling on the ground and papers rustling in the air disturbed the silence in the hallway.

"Yah!" she called. I can't respond quickly as my head was spinning. She was muttering something I couldn't hear. I was about to run off, but my good guy in me won't let me do it.

"I'm really... sorry." I said in between my panting. Man, I guess I'm really out of shape. I'm going to ask Yoseob to work out with me when I get home later. I saw her expression, her eyes grew wide. "It's fine." She looked down on her things trying to avoid contact.

I tried to help her, but everytime I look down my dizziness was overpowering me. "Uhm. Can I ask you something?"

"Sure." she retorted.

"Do you know any good places to hide in?" Please say yes, or I'll pass out. I said to myself as I saw the look of disbelieve on her face. "Nonononono... I'm not kidding." I explained. "You see... There are people, a lot of them, who are chasing after me. I just need a place where I can stay and wait for them to pass by or give up on me." All those words came out in a rush despite the fact that I'm still panting.

"Come with me."

"Where?" I asked.

"In there." She finally said, pointing towards the library. She snorted a laugh. Huh? Omo. Not now my stupid facial expressions! I don't want her to get distracted. I really want to get away from those girls.

I depend on my hearing all the time in my line of work. If I don't I won't be successful in it. My trained ears heard something from the hallway before the one where we were. "What? Did something ha-" I heard the girl with me said, but I faintly understood it. I could hear voices and reconized them easily. "Ugh. Great."

"Are they the ones who're chasing after you?"

"Unfortunately, yes." I know that they're my fans, but they're too much for me to handle right now.

"Come on then!" She grabbed my hand and led me inside the library. She didn't let go until we're in the part of the library where all seemed to be forgotten. Her grip on my hand loosened, but I didn't want to let go.

"It's fine. They won't go all the way over here." She thought I'm worried? Ohh. Kyeopta~

I went along with it. "You don't know that. They might-" Our necks snapped to the direction of the aisle as soon as we heard voices coming from there.

"Unnie! He might be at the very end!" We heard one girl said.

My grip on her hand instinctively became tighter. Maybe I really am nervous. She tried to free her hand from mine, but I still won't. I don't know the reason behind it.

"Let go!" she hissed under her breath.

"No." I said with firmness in my voice.

"I need to go." Huh?

"Where?"

"Trust me!"

"But!" I protested.

"Fine. You can come with me, but don't let yourself be seen." She said calmly.

We walked towards the aisle. I was making sure that there's nothing that's going to give me away. She peeked through the shelf and shown herself, making sure that the hand holding hers are hidden. But, Is she crazy?!

"Could you quiet down?" Her voice came out more louder than the her normal voice.

I couldn't grasp what they were talking about because my head was badly spinning now. I felt her hand moistened. It confirms that she's as nervous as I am. It's my fault that I got her caught up with this. I felt bad.

Her hand relaxed. I think they left. A sigh of relief came out from her as my hand relaxed as well. I don't want to let go.
